
The journal Audiological Medicine is the official organ of the International Association of Audilogical Medicine - IAPA. This international journal aims to provide a forum for reserach into hearing, balance and communication disorders. The IAPA membership dues include the subscription of the journal.
Audiological Medicine has also been selected as the official journal of the Società Italiana di Audiologia (SIA).
Annually the journal Audilogical Medicine is 4 issues - Two regular issues and two special issues:
A regular issue contains not only research papers, but also a basic science review paper, an editorial, one radiological case, one clinical case, a historical note, a technical note, a pathological note, book reviews, letters to the Editor as well as the IAPA News.
The special issues are monographic issues with topics including: Genetics of hearing, Inner ear pharmacology, Inner ear plasticity, Tinnitus, Otoneurological evaluation of children, Otoneurological evaluation of head trauma and Standardization of vestibular tests.
